My object painting for Nelson's class. (10x8" acrylics) I should have spent more time on the shadow, plus the shell needs a little more work. However I cant wait for the final project. I will be painting an environment piece of the Hawaiian coral reefs, but you wont see that until the end of May.

Thats lookin good. Where'd you find an empty turtle shell for reference? After seeing this painting I can't wait to see how the final piece will look.
